The work includes conceiving and designing new features, conducting user validations and interviews, refining the experience and implementing changes according to our findings working closely with the users and developers, etc.
The main goal was to enable users to construct a personalized mobile app to engage with their members and clients. Similar to the Wix editor, users have the ability to choose the app's navigation, sections, images galleries, and other elements, allowing them to tailor the app according to their specific business requirements.
The challenge was to create a mobile app design builder. Based on the new product and UX design, we had to implement a different logic on the development side to make the experience more flexible and user-friendly
Personal achievment
After the great success of the project, with excellent reviews and ratings, Wix has expanded the team and established a dedicated group to enhance abilities, such as creating an app splash screen, designing logos, and customizing top and bottom navigation.
Guiding and assisting teams
Total Creative Freedom - To make this builder meaningful and open for flexibility and creation, I built, with my team, a rich library featuring many sections such as stores, blogs, bookings, and events
Build detailed guidelines. These guidelines included instructions for sections layout types, sizes, and provided examples of sections as a reference to guide the teams at Wix in creating their own product sections. For instance, groups focusing on stores were tasked with designing sections for an enhanced shopping experience.
Meet the other teams To ensure effective communication and provide a thorough explanation of the guidelines, I flew to Lithuania to meet with the Wix teams in person. During this visit, I conveyed the magnitude of the effort involved and provided a comprehensive overview of the guidelines.
